The Father Knows What You Need

Jesus speaks these words in a passage about food, clothing, and the worry that can consume a day. He points His hearers toward the heavenly Father, who knows their needs, and calls them to seek His kingdom and righteousness. The passage offers a direction for anxious hearts: bring your attention back to the Father and the life He calls you to live.

Take the next faithful step in front of you. Do your work with care, provide what you can, and make room to help someone else. Naming a need in prayer is an act of trust. The Father's knowledge does not remove every responsibility or promise an easy tomorrow, but it gives us reason to face today's responsibilities without letting worry become our master.
